KISS is probably good unless youâre prepared to create systems
of extreme complexity and sophistication. They are a substantial undertaking. However the rewards can be significant in terms of accuracy and return on capital.
Using KISS has several limitations: 1) You are running with the herd as that's the route 90%+ of all traders take. So it's really hard to find significant success with so many people doing the same thing. 2) Attaining a win loss ration much above 85% and a return on capital above 300% a year is fairly rare with KISS. The market, being a very complex phenomena, requires something similar in terms of a trading system to capture exceptional results. Few have the time or skills to do it right.
