Fox's Shep Smith fact-checks Trump's Amazon claims: 'None of that was true'

you create the non sequitur and then act the other person has the burden to prove you are wrong?

AAA spoke of shep smith... he did not speak of all minorities being quota fills. That was your projection.

if shep smith had any talent or brains he would have given out accurate info during his grand standing. Credibility is not just a word that is given out, it has to be earned. Shep blew it again. ( Pun not intended when written.)

So he thinks that they are quota fills in this instance but you are gonna vouch that he doesn't think like that generally when there is no evidence that an organization like News Corp would even give a shit about gays being represented in their setup. The only reason Shep is there because he has credibility unlike the opinion part of Fox which is nothing but pure propaganda.

Yes, a projection based on recent evidence, I didn't make the implication out of thin air, if he thinks that Shep Smith is a quota fill, what makes you think he won't say the same about people who are far less talented?

And as for 'accurate info', the info was vetted by Fox News research team which he mentioned as the source of his claims, you may have missed facts as usual.

The number one thing Fox could do to improve their channel would be to fire Shep Smith. He has to be their most unpopular anchor. He keeps his job for one reason only and we all know that.
He keeps his job as cover and to make the rest of the operation look good for their upcoming RICO trial.

this is my problem with weak minds and lies in the news.
Reporters and news outlets did not let this kind of weak thinking on the air years ago. Journalists made carefully considered choices before they made indictments.

Smith was full of shit... when he said Trump was wrong about everything. Smith has no idea... and journalist with integrity would have never made such an ill informed comment about the U.S. President.

Here is the proof... Shep said the postal services own numbers show its makes money by delivering packages.

1. That comment does not show the Postal Service makes money on Amazon's packages it only states that overall the Postal Office claims to earn money on package delivery. Hence Smith was lying when he said Trump was wrong about everything. Smith does not know and neither do we.

2. Trump was correct - the tax payers are subsidizing the Postal Service so again Trump could not have been wrong about everything.

3. Accounting for costs and profits across a larger operation which loses billions can easily be a shell game. Where do you attribute the costs for the trucks and the salaries and the health care... what percent do you give to packages what percent do you give to letters?

4. We don't even know the terms of the contracts so there is no way Smith could say the President is wrong about everything... I showed you this wiht the Washington Post article yesterday. Why did you lie again.

here it is from another source a lefty should trust...
NPR... note they clearly explain know one really knows and then they spin.

Both NPR and the Washington Post state that the terms of the deal with Amazon are sealed and know one really knows.

Shep Smith and now you are bullshitting your asses off.
That is the opposite of credibility. What the fuck did you forget I showed you the washington post article yesterday? Or is everyday a new day to lie for you?

NAYLOR: That's Michael Plunkett, who was a vice president at the Postal Service and now leads PostCom, an association of large mailers.

Plunkett says no one really knows what kind of deal Amazon made with the Postal Service because the details are sealed. But he says contrary to what the president tweeted - that they lose a fortune - the Postal Service does not lose money delivering Amazon's or anyone else's packages.

So your point is that even Fox News straight news team is full of shit? Well, thanks for clarifying, I hope you won't be quoting Fox news anymore on anything.

Since you insist on calling everyone liars to defend Trump, I did some research.

Every year, an independent agency called the Postal RegulatoryCommission makes sure the USPS' deals make economic sense. And year after year, the commission has approved the deal with Amazon. In its 2017 annual report, the USPS even said its shipping and packages business helped the "financial picture of the Postal Service."

There goes that talking point.

that goes straight to my point...

the article says... no one knows the terms of the contract with Amazon...
but... your articles states...

So how the hell does Shep Smith know that Trump was wrong about everything. Smith was a moron and you are not doing a good job defending him.He does not know... you do not know. its proprietary...

and your article pretty much proves my point about figuring out costs when an entity is losing billions...

"That idea that the post office is losing big likely stems from a Citigroup report. The report alleges the USPS' pricing model is unsustainable, and that parcel rates would need to rise significantly for the agency to break even.

The report was mentioned in a widely circulated Wall Street Journal commentary by shipping analyst Josh Sandbulte. The analyst argues that the post office is essentially giving Amazon a $1.46 subsidy for every box it ships.

But if true, that figure would hold for all companies across the board, not just Amazon. Which is probably where Trump is coming up with the claim that the post office "will lose $1.50 on average for each package it delivers for Amazon." "

Can you even read?

makes sure the USPS' deals make economic sense. And year after year, the commission has approved the deal with Amazon

Are you telling me the commission setup to measure economic utility doesn't know what's in the contract? What? Just because you don't know the specifics doesn't mean other parties don't.

its like you refuse to use logic.
all that says is that a commission who overseas a venture has oversight on the venture.
nothing there proves Amazon deal earns profits for the post office.

In short... you don't know shit and neither did shep smith... but we do know Trump was not wrong about everything.
