Weâve always known that the goal of the so-called Affordable Care Act was to usher in a government-run, single-payer system. Even the architect of obamacare said recently that you can get ready to âkiss your insurance company goodbye forever" as a result of the law.
But thatâs not exactly how the law was sold to the American people by Democrats, is it? What was it they said again? Oh yeah, âthis law is for the poor, uninsured people who canât get insurance.â If thatâs the case, itâs a miserable failure even by its own standard. Apparently only 1 in 10 eligible, uninsured people have bothered to sign up.

The new health insurance marketplaces appear to be making little headway in signing up Americans who lack insurance, the Affordable Care Actâs central goal, according to a pair of new surveys.
Only one in 10 uninsured people who qualify for private plans through the new marketplaces enrolled as of last month, one of the surveys shows. The other found that about half of uninsured adults have looked for information on the online exchanges or planned to look....
