What hard numbers? Sebelius has testified she doesn't know the numbers, everything is speculation. What is known is no money from the health exchange has been paid to the insurance companies for premiums as the back end is not complete. Instead the insurers have been given a form of a stipend or bulk partial payment to cover expenses and claims until they can complete it and actually get a look at who's actually covered and who's paid what.

You can find numbers if you are looking for them.

This is a rolling average. People who enrolled between 2/16 and 3/15 don't even start coverage until April 1st, while anyone who enrolls between 3/16 - 3/31 won't start coverage until May 1st. In many cases, their first month's premium won't even be due until up to 6 weeks or more after they enroll. Considering how many people wait until the last minute to pay their bills, it's silly to write these people off as deadbeats. The vast majority of these will eventually be paid up, it's just that we won't have confirmation of many of them until well into MAY.

I always thought insurance was paid in advance? Don't know to many insurance companies that will cover you and your claim while betting your premium on the come.

And what? There still a lot of time before coverage starts for a lot of people which is why it will take till May to get the final numbers. This is not real time data, it will take some time to get the final numbers.

Everything in that graphic is backed up by a source, it's not something that I have been pulling out of my ass.

Second, your worst case scenarios are based on hypotheticals on top of more hypotheticals. It's like the whole skewed polls nonsense few years ago. We will see what happens, right now the Cons are desperate to spin the huge enrollment numbers. Nothing unexpected, this is what they do.

I'm very sorry to have befuddled you, let us review for clarification.

So I asked a simple question: "If you don't pay your premiums how can you be enrolled?"

Your reply was to ask the insurance companies and you provided a link.

The link you provided clearly states that those who fail to pay their premiums would be dropped and would be subject to the penalties. So I asked YOU the question again. How is it possible to not be enrolled and not pay the fines and tax penalties as you implied. My facetious question about really wanting to know so as to save a bundle, was in the hope that you would see the fallacy of that position.

Apparently my tongue in cheek question was way over your head since your reply was a snide remark insinuating that I proposed some "loophole" and was thus a fool.

In the future, I'll try to remember not to asked you question, use big words, or assume you have the reading comprehension skills to interpret more than a line or two at one time.
