Fox News busted again selectively editing clips

Quote from bugscoe:

When FOX starts editing clips of white people with guns to look like it's black people, then you might be on to something.

First of all MSNBC didn't claim that the gun owner was white and the guy was at a pro-health care reform rally.

And failing to mention that the gun owner was black gives Fox license to selectively edit clips regularly?

More People Watched Fox News Monday Than Obama Town Hall
By Noel Sheppard
Wed, 09/22/2010 - 10:13 ET

The ratings are in for Barack Obama's televised town hall meeting on CNBC Monday, and they're pretty dismal.

In fact, far more people watched the Fox News Channel's "Happening Now" with Jon Scott and Jenna Lee airing at the same time than tuned in to see what the President had to say.

Potentially even more embarrassing, when you add in those that watched Obama in MSNBC's replay of the event later in the day, the total is still less than those that viewed Jon and Jenna at noon.

Chris Ariens of TVNewser reported the numbers Tuesday:Early in his presidency, media members used to gush over how Obama drew the attention of the American people. They even used it as an excuse to cover him so much and put him on the covers of magazines.

It appears less than two years into his first term, the bloom is off the rose.

Yes, and WWE is real since more people watch it than Fox.

Another interesting little statistic.

Most of those who regularly watch O'Reilly (63%) and Hannity (65%) are 50 or older; 44% of the public is 50 or older. By contrast, the "Daily Show" and "Colbert Report" have the youngest audiences of any outlet included in the survey. Large majorities of those who say they regularly watch the "Colbert Report" (80%) and the "Daily Show" (74%) are younger than 50; 55% of public is 18 to 49.

"Racial overtones, a black president, white people showing up with guns strapped to their waists"

Don't be an idiot.

Eh, "the worst generation" only has a few more years and that will reduce extremism considerably.

Thats BS and you know it, nowhere does any other news networks come close to pulling off what Fox News does regularly. Ask me for examples if you are in doubt.

There are plenty of examples on all networks, and I'm not saying that just because they all do it, it's OK. I'm just pointing out that they all edit towards their bias. Something which has become the norm, which I believe is exactly how all parties want it. The general public does not know where the truth ends and the bullshit begins, which keeps us in ignorance, and ignorant people are easy to stear in one direction or another. The news media is no longer independent of the political parties they cover. That's a problem.

I am sure there were never any threats at tea party rallies, MSNBC must be making it up.

Last Tuesday a man was arrested before Obama's New Hampshire health care town hall for carrying an unlicensed loaded gun

http://www.seacoastonline.com/articles/20090811-NEWS-908119961

The Associated Press is now reporting that there were actually about a dozen armed people among the protesters in Phoenix:

About a dozen people carrying guns, including one with an AR-15 assault rifle, milled among protesters outside an event where President Barack Obama was giving a speech Monday in Phoenix.

Last week, during Obama's town hall meeting in Portsmouth, N.H., a man stood outside with a gun strapped to his leg.

Except there were white people showing up at Democratic rallies with guns. In fact in that particular rally there were several protesters walking around with guns, and the press focused on only the black person. Which kind of says a lot about bias right there.

But back to the topic of Fox, here's a montage/puzzle page of just a few of Fox's lies, outright bias and manipulations. Can you find each lie?

It doesn't matter if everyone had a gun. It was how the story was reported, a complete fabrication. And if there were so many white crazies with guns, why did MSNBC choose to use the black guy for it's footage?

Come on boys, this is not rocket science here.
