Step #2 - Formations.

Are we including the definitions that were established in Spydertrader's thread on TL? By 'Formations', I assume you referring to 'Lateral Formation' which if memory serves is just a sym pennant. OTOH, 'Lateral Movement' consists of a minimum three bar formation where first bar's high and lows are not violated in any way by the last two bars.

I believe JH utilized quite a bit of material from the TL thread. Hence the reason that I'm referencing it here.

. The best example is PP1 end effect when we have 3 consecutive rising volume bars with acceleration.

Thank you very much for providing much needed clarity on this topic, unitrader1. PP1 was first discussed in Spydertrader's TL thread but I don't believe a formal label was assigned to it.

Step #1 - Assigning proper Color to the Price Bars and Volume.
Step #2 - Formations.

Attached NT ES charts from 4-27-2017.

Guys, please do some QA to correct errors.

Whoever wants first cut of indicator to play with, PM me.

Stepan.

I see all the lateral formations surrounded by blue boxes. None of the OB's, STU, STD are boxed. How is the line connecting P to T calculated? There were 9 channels that came into view for me on this day.

What do you have as the logic to color code the Volume Bars?

Yes.

No. It's wrong assumption.

There are Formations, Lateral Formation and Lateral Movement.

Latter two are Spydertrader's inventions. They are not included on my chart. I added Formations only as Jack has it on his chart.

But all of this stuff are from JHM 1.0. And I don't want to start arguing about it here.

1. Annotating OB clouded chart. I will leave it for the users. I always assume users are not stupid and read Jack's stuff. And they have some work to do BTW. :)

2. Could you please give the definitions of STU and STD.

3. Can you post your annotated same day chart to compare?

4. On his charts Jacks uses Spydertrader's definition of the Price Up/Down translated into Black/Red Colors. Which I tried to reverse engineer. And I know there some errors and I need some help to locate them.

5. On my chart Volume Bar has same color as Price Bar, but Volume lower then previous Volume has more transparent bar color.

Do you or some body else have access to TradeNavigator software?

2.
STU = Stitch Up, Stitch Long, Stitch B, (H.0>H.1,L.0=L.1)
STD = Stitch Down, Stitch Short, Stitch R, (H.0=H.1,L.0<L.1)

x.0 where x is O,H,L,C,V of current bar, x.1 is previous bar, x.2 is the next previous etc.

4.
K, thanks.

Here's my view of the day.
