If Al Qaeda is smart, they'll wait until after the '08 election. If Clinton or Obama are Prez, they can then wallow in victory in Iraq with the ensuing pullout and bloodbath. Then they'll marshall their forces and increase their ranks thanks to the massive PR victory they'll attain with our pullout. Then they'll hit us domestically and watch us wilt.
They will have to hit us soon after the elections to ensure that the Dem Prez-elect stays in office as long as possible, because they know damn well that the next C-in-C is going to be a Republican. So they'll have approx. 4 years to do their worst.
Those 4 years are going to be the most crucial in our history and may determine our fate as a nation IMO.
