Excellent article.

It shows and explains how the Clintons filled Wall Street with democrats by initiating the bank bail out culture, and also tangentially mentioned are the immense campaign contributions that flowed in the other direction that most certainly were part of the equation.

The current democratic party has been a beneficiary of what they did in the 90's and it looks to me like Obama set out to do the same thing to the military/indus complex. He's been filling the upper echelons of the military with democrats and it wouldn't surprise me if campaign contributions have been and will continue to slowly migrate from republicans to democrats from defense contractors.
 
This is the two party system in the information age. Both sides straddle the middle when it comes to governing, to the point of becoming indistinguishable, and falsely reach out to their respective bases during the primaries.

Of course many of us would disagree vehemently that obama and the democrats have been 'straddling the middle when it comes to governing'.

Start debating on the side of creationism and hundreds of these will come out of the woodworks and eventually declare themselves victorious :)
