Right now the dem message to the white working class is we're going to take away your healthcare, replace it with horseshit healthcare, all so 30 million illegals can have healthcare. It's a loser message and every single one of them acknowledged that. If they get it, and a poor dumb dope like me gets it, but you, the self appointed representative of the mainstream dem party doesn't get it, what chance does the left have in 2020? I see you are drifting in a different direction.If Trump takes whites by more than 2% than you would be right,but that is not what happened in 2016,he only got a 2% increase above Romney.
Dems got 3 million more votes in 2016 and 10 million in 2018.Keep thinking they have no chance in 2020.
BTW,thats the same dumbass thinking that made Hillary pick Kaine.If she had picked a Black VP she probably would have had higher black voter turnout and won.

BTW.Obama got 39% of the white vote in 2012,Hillary got 37 % in 2016 but democrats got 44% in 2018
Biden,Harris or Sanders will probably be the nominee.Biden is only for emergency healthcare for illegals and not for open borders.Harris has shown she has no problem switching positions.If Harris is the nominee her positions will change in the general election.
Sanders positions stay the same but polls still show him beating Trump.
Tony, I would think after 3 years you would finally understand that the numbers you're counting don't mean anything in a national election. Locally, yes, presidential election, nothing.
If the left doesn't carry the working class whites in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin, they lose, period. Those states will go republican in the electoral college. That's how it works. The current message to those working class whites is we're giving a bunch of free shit to everyone but you,you're going to pay for it and receive less yourself, all for the good of the nation of course. They don't have to convince the lock step guilt ridden white lefties on the coast that this is a great idea, they have to convince guys like me in middle America, guys and gals who punch time clocks. We ain't convinced, and until we are those working class states will rule the outcome!

They lost those states because of blacks not turning out in the big cities,not because of a huge migration of whites to Trump.
Democrats won Senate races in all those states in 2018 and by much larger margins than Trump won them in 2016. Black voter turnout also happen to be the highest in midterm history in 2018.

Black voter turnout was the highest ever in 2012 and Obama won Ohio,Pennsylvania ,Florida,Michigan and Wisconsin.He also won the popular vote by 5 million.
Obama did lose some white votes in 2012 as you predicted,but again,black voter turnout in 2012 was the highest in US history so he still kicked Romney's ass in the EC and popular vote even after losing millions of white votes.
Obama actually lost more white votes from 2008 to 2012 than Hillary did from 2012 to 2016.Obama went from 43% of the white vote in 2008 to 39% in 2012,4 points.Hillary went from Obamas 39% in 2012 to 37% in 2016,only 2 points.The difference between Obama still winning and Hillary losing was black voter turnout.Blacks knew Obama was in trouble and went out in record numbers and voted for him,they didn't do it for Hillary.
