Forgive me Father for I am about to sin and disgrace myself by naming my prediction for Dem nominee.

Very interested in who Biden picks. I could see myself supporting his ticket (and know I'll get flak for saying this).

Depending on who he picks...whether he panders without thought like McCain did in selecting Pailin or picks someone who fits the mold....boring and in the background and delivers a State Biden needs..

Yeh. I saw that. Joe has a massive lead in the national polls.
Problem is, it is not so massive in early primary primary states if at all. And then the fundraising problem.
But yeh, as always, Joe has a solid lead in the national polls and I give you that and see that and acknowledge that.
Biden is not going to be the nominee.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

LOL? You think Biden is going to be the nominee? Why, because he lets black kids rub on his leg? It may not be Pete, but it sure as fuck won't be Biden and regardless the black vote is as irrelevant as it was 4 years ago, other than Trump will probably take a slightly bigger slice of that pie. Shake and tremble Tony, shake and tremble, because at this point your team has nothing. Maybe your new Iranian friends can take our Trump because other than that you're done.

Hi Cap :)

Black voters across eight states with sizable African American populations captured in exit polls voted for Biden — once again providing decisive wins for Barack Obama’s former vice president.

Entering Super Tuesday, it was unclear whether Mike Bloomberg’s expensive advertising spree in those states would keep Biden from racking up the margins he hit with black voters in his important South Carolina win. Exit polls there measured Biden at about 61 percent of the black vote, bolstering his electability argument centered on his connection with African Americans — the most loyal constituency in the Democratic Party.

But Biden neared or exceeded that mark in the South on Tuesday, in Texas (58 percent), Virginia (60 percent), North Carolina (62 percent) and Alabama (72 percent). The results in Texas and North Carolina were especially notable given the prevalence of early voting in those states, where hundreds of thousands of ballots were cast before Biden’s South Carolina surge.

Biden still won a plurality of the black vote in California, 33 percent, though it was not the dominant showing he turned in elsewhere.

But Biden’s strength among African Americans elsewhere could buoy his campaign heading into big primary battlegrounds like Michigan and Ohio in the coming weeks.

Pete Buttigieg doesn't need the black vote, nor does any other candidate. He needs the white working class and middle class vote who still dominate the voting electorate. That's going to change in the 2030's, but right now it's the average white voter which counts. Pander to blacks at his own risk as that'll cost him and any other dem candidate white votes.

The democratic nominee will be chosen by the same voters that have been choosing the democrat nominee since 1992,black voters. In past democrat primaries Bill Clinton got 74% of the black vote in 92,Gore got around 85% in 2000,Kerry got 81% in 2004,Obama and Hilary both got around 80% in 2008 and 2016.

The candidate that is polling the highest now is Biden, who has the highest % of black support in polls.Black voters will probably drag him across the finish line

The last time a democrat candidate won the democrat primary without the majority of the black vote was 1988.

Hillary got the majority of the white and Hispanic vote in 2008 but still lost the primary to Obama.

Hillary and Sanders were even with the white vote in 2016 until the South Carolina primary .Black voters picked Hillary and it was over from that point.Good luck to any candidate using your strategy.

Since 1992 the candidate with the majority of the black vote wins the primary.Dont think that will change this year and doubt she can get the majority of the black vote.

Black voters voted for 2 freakin days and completely cleared up the democrat primary bull shit that has been going on for over a year

In 2 days they took out Warren,Bloomberg,Pete and Bernie. In Nov they will be taking out Trump.

You were supporting Bernie just a few days ago, I was talking about Biden winning the dem nomination before you or anyone else. Just a few days ago you were talking up Bernie "The Cardiac Commie" Sanders. H4M was telling me to "feel the Bern" as well.
