I guess the guy meant 200 million Indian rupees (about 4-5 million USD, which sounds about right) :D

I understand he is going to see The Festival of Lights in India. His entire family is going. They didn't mention the 5 helicopters that are being transported there. those are confirmed numbers..i did not making this shit up..
570 rooms + dozens of other locations.. that's at one stop..the place doesn't look like super 8 motel to me..probably didn't cost like one either...3000+ federal employees probably not working for minimal wage ..transport them + 5 helicopters + i don't know what else + they been staying over there for a week or so before the visit and here we go..this number did not pop up out of thin air..most likely it's somebody's estimation.
i'm not anti obama,but once again-why do you need this much around you? would it wiser\smarter just not to go? even if it cost 1/4 of those 200M. if i was him-i would say-fuck it, i stay home, simply because it cost too much for american public. indians want to talk to me for whatever reason?they can come to my place.
but i understand his approach..US gvt agenda was always-spend,spend spend and this will help the economy..not save to help yourself...and it looks like US leader giving us an example, how this is suppose to be done!
