I'm looking for a broker where I could trade American style Forex options.
Any help would be most appreciated.

Trading of OTC forex options is not permitted to retail customers in the US under CFTC regulations.

You can cover a Euro-style option. It offers a protection to the seller in that it cannot be exercised, but it's freely traded before expiration. Saxo does not take US clients. It's a regulatory issue.
