Forex is a good place to earn but first of all we the traders have to make sure inevitable parts of trading , need good knowledge and experience with a reliable support from a credible trading broker.

Agreed MT4 is the best platform out there.

Now that someone’s talking about the platforms in this thread, please help me suggest which one to opt for. Am I wrong to assume there are multiple types of MT5? Is MT5 better than MT4?

from my first day of trading i have been using MT5 , its recommend by everyone above all the newcomers.

That’s your call. I personally have swapped to MT5 because of the advanced features than its predecessor. It’s much faster, has multi threads, the times & sale exchange data is available. Other than these, there are more technical indicators, graphical objects, and timeframes available. Apart from MT5, I’m also trading with ActTrader Platform offered by fxview, but I'm still on the demo account stage with that.
