I completely agree, it is unfortunate that the Professional FX community gets a bad reputation. As you said that comes from the shady, unregulated brokers and the barrier to entry in terms of really getting educated and learning to trade the correct way. We also see alot of social media "gurus" that are absolute frauds that scam so many people, it is really quite sad. I was speaking to a trader that works at a prop firm in London the other day and he told me that if you said you're an FX Trader, you genuinely get laughed at. If you do not mention you work for a firm in England you are seen as a joke due to the scams out there - I suppose they are more rampant in the UK.

Whats your thoughts on mechanical trading systems?

That is my bread and butter, for over 12 years now, last 10 trading fx baskets. My algorithms are based on classification and prediction DNN models.

Completely your choice, do not feel obligated by any means but id love to hear an elaboration on classification and DNN models, I do not think I am familiar with either. Thanks for your input! In my own trading, I use 2 algorithmic trading systems and one is completely discretionary.
 
I prefer to not elaborate. Good luck with whatever you are selling to this crowd.

Yes, it is attainable as you say but it also takes some time for a person to actually understand and analyse the market to begin with.
 
Now is really the time when Forex is at the level when they are preparing for it, and these are opportunities for many to earn money.
