Hi,
I have traded stocks (9 yrs) and options (1 yr) fairly successfully. Although I don't trade fulltime yet, the intent (and unfortunately, the need) is to do so in 2010.
I would consider myself more of a technicals trader...I like to keep it simple & for the most part, I have been successful with candlesticks, moving averages, macd, sto & on bal volume in my toolkit.
The purpose of this post is seek advice on how I might move forward with Forex and Futures.
On Forex, I've opened an account with FXCM and started paper-trading EUR/USD using the daily chart , but something tells me there's a lot more to forex trading than just the daily chart.
On Futures, I'm clueless... on educators, good brokerages anything.
If there are any successful forex and futures traders out here, I would appreciate your input on education and/or brokerages.
If you've simply attended a course here or there, but are yet to convert that education into income, then I probably will save you the trouble of replying to this post.
Thanks!
