forex and fix

Hi All,

Does anyone have any recommendations on a broker that can provide access to forex via FIX, has paper trading and is relatively affordable for the FIX access.

I'm wanting to expand some of my algo ideas from MetaTrader to something a bit faster and more professional.

One of the goals of this exercise to get some experience with FIX itself.

Also, what can anyone recommend in terms of a FIX gateway simulator.

Unless you're dealing with High-Frequency trading and a reasonable firm who has DMA, FIX doesn't mean much.

For a normal broker (most of FX firms), FIX is only an "API" that is eventually routed to the same execution engine as an "API" or a manual trader.

One of the reasons i want FIX specifically is to put on the CV.

Lots of work around for developers with FIX experience
