besides the fact that a woman that can talk about fusion is not necessarily smart, I think that the point is not that smart implies sexy. But sexy does imply smart.
A dumb expression is indeed unattractive.
Maybe we can replace the expression "is smart" with "has personality"

I've come across plenty who were that "insane" and more ... much more. In fact, I seem to have pulled a lot of "crazy hos" in my day, hmm, maybe I (we) are part of the problem? :D

the guys talking about smart women are correct.

A very intelligent friend of mine - former hedge fund guy and attorney - said in law school - he would only marry a very smart women.

I asked why? He said because then she would know he was always right.

At the time I could not have laughed harder. But now, I can say - the guy is a genius.
