foreign currency balance in my account

After trading nikkei225 futures for a month I just found out that in my interactivebrokers account a part of my account balance is in Japanese yen. Although I hold no position right now, the total account balance still fluctuates everyday due to the rate change of USD/JPY. How can I convert all cash in my account to US dollar each time or periodically after I close positions in foreign index futures? Can I configure IB to do this automatically for me? Any help is appreciated.

I came up against the same problem for my profits in euros. Basically you need to sell your yen through their system. Use the symbol JPY and hit cash as your choice. It should be pretty easy from there, but the spread looks pretty ugly right now. I don't know if that's common since I've never had to convert out of Yen.
