I've been getting many messages from true stand-up guys, offering to help me make bail.

I sincerely appreciate such undeserved kindness, but coming up with cash for bail isn't a concern for me at all. Just to clear up any confusion, I'm being DENIED bail. 'Innocent until proven guilty in a court of law' only applies on tv shows in today's prohibition stricken America.

I'm being denied bail because I'm considered a relapse risk.
When I appeared in court two days after my arrest, I was junk sick as fuck. (Think DiCaprio in Basketball Diaries.)

It's all about CYA... If I'm released and then O.D. or nod off while driving down the expressway or something, the prosecutor & judge would be held accountable. That's why I'm still locked up.
 
Why do you continue play out this drama on this website? If you're truly addicted and/or locked up then there are more helpful and appropriate sites to visit.

Reardon, I do hope you are being accorded appropriate medical care. It's my assumption that you are.

I have supported you even though you have said things in the past I disagreed with (and a lot of things I agreed with, too).

But maybe the Judge (the Judge has the legal discretion to weigh the risks of your release, both to yourself and to others) truly is acting in your best interests (as well as the general public).

What sayeth you?
