This is something they should wait on, until they have a mutually respectful, long term, and committed relationship, with a broker they know they can trust.
I sell mad amounts of skew, sticky-delta stuff hedged with spot. At work I trade OTC. Flies and vega neutral stuff is 25% of my net liq. I sell naked puts in my IRA and wife's 401k.
