How many hundreds of thousands of Iraqis senselessly killed in Bush's invasion and occupation that had no justification whatsoever? Where were all the right-wing bleeding hearts then? Their hypocrisy and depravity have no limits.
 
If killing and not capturing terrorists is the goal of the Obama administration, then there goes his liberal support in 2012. lol

You're missing the point.

Is it now our policy to kill people who are surrendering or who have no choice but to surrender? Sending in a kill team with orders to take no prisoners is clearly a violation of international law. I have serious questions about the legality of drone attacks on targets where noncombatants are present.

The fact that it would be awkward to deal with the guy is clearly not legal justification just to assassinate him, no matter how much he deserved it.

It is ironic that an adminstration filled with people who harshly criticized Bush and his administration for coercive interrogations are now sending in kill teams. It is also ironic that the left, which wantd Bush administration lawyers prosecuted and disbarred for legal advice they gave regarding interrogations now cheers obama's orders to takeno prisoners.

It is doubly ironic that the obama administration, which prosecuted a Seal team for allegedly slapping a terrorist during or after his apprehension, is now sending them out with orders to take no prisoners. I guess it is legal to execute them, just not slap them around. This is the kind of liberal legal sophistication that normal people have trouble following.

The other big question is whether we are passing up a lot of useful intelligence by killing people we could have interrogated. Clearly, Obama and his team of former terrorist lawyers in Justice have painted themselvs into a corner. It's easier to kill people than to run the risk of offending the anti-American left by questioning them.
