Food Shortages Are Coming

Did the individual display symptoms of COVID-19. There are a clear list of symptoms that must be displayed in a hospital in the U.S. before a death can be attributed in any manner as COVID-19 related. The claims that hospitals are simply marking every death as "COVID-19" for more Medicaid/Medicare money is absurd.

Due to a proper public health response in most states the hospitals were not over-run with patients and ventilators were available. This is all attributable to the lock-downs.

An increase in suicide is much more likely to be driven by economic distress than COVID-19 lock-downs. As of now in the U.S. we have $600 extra weekly in unemployment, $1200 payments, freezes on evictions and other relief measures. We are not currently seeing the economic distress at the family level yet. This may change in a few months once the government measures are completed and people are being evicted & can't pay their bills. This would likely drive an increase in suicides -- being locked-down with your family due to COVID-19 is not.
Surely you are not suggesting that we're not seeing any economic distress due to the shutdown? None, nobody, not a single family has any financial distress due to this? I guess every single person who lost a job, every business owner who has closed down, all of them to the last man and woman has made less than 600 bucks a week and now all is just peachy. Who knew the entire fucking nation was working at the poverty level.

Well I will note that at least 30% of workers in most states make more on state unemployment plus $600 per week than in wages they earned.

My point is that when the government monetary gravy train stops, the savings run out, and they start allowing evictions again is when economic stress will drive up the suicide rate. Not now due to having to stay at home -- several months from now when the bills come due.

I will also add that economic distress is but one element that drives the suicidal over the edge. One need look no further than the many celebrities and wealthy people who have killed themselves. Isolation, feeling hopeless and helpless are major contributing factors. Certainly the shutdown and the overall gloom and doom of the entire event is taking a toll. Alcohol and drug abuse play their part too and I can tell you from up close and personal experience people in that community are struggling. I'm just trying to say that the negatives surrounding this shutdown are certainly taking a toll and lives are in jeopardy. There is a point where the cure becomes more of a threat that the Covid itself. Where that line of departure is the great unknown and to dismiss it as too far away to worry about is a mistake because once we pass that the following shitshow becomes extremely difficult to manage

Its even worse than men think.

Yes, its The Great Mistake and the only good thing coming out of it is that it has exposed leftist authoritarian tendencies primarily the leftist predilection to use any "emergency" to abrogate our constitutional rights.

What a load of shite you silly little men.

Suicides will be flat or drop. When there is a crisis, people don't kill themselves, its after. Ask those soldier lads. More suicides than died in Vietnam in the last 10 years alone.

Right now the US needs to prep for that rise, but won't because Donny needs and dreams of a suicide spike for his personal benefit.

Could, would, should. Sure, bud.
Do you know what Holodomor was? Go look at the pictures and tell me it's in any way comparable. With every economic downturn, suicides and deaths increase. That's not news.

It would be hilarious if you werent so stupid. Trump said suicides would increase and the assholes you follow in the media said they would decrease.

You are a far left anti-American. America has been squashing turds like you, and it always will.
