Food Shortages Are Coming

Why aren't the illegals working? Did they ALL get sick?

Enough of them got sick that they had to close the plant, then the plant got cleaned, then they non-sick ones started work and within a couple days more got sick, and the plant closed again for cleaning..... just repeat the cycle -- at some point a decision is made to just shut down.

Of course it is. Death toll from Covid proving to be insufficient to continue mass hysteria so this is next up. More panic buying to create something for the talking heads to yammer on about. Also pushes the agenda driven by anti meat loons. This whole f'n thing is looking more and more like the workings of the climate change cultists. Has their MO all over it.

Capn genius, it was Tyson Meats who released the two page spread TO CAUSE panic buying.

Do the climate activists control Tyson Meats?

The chicken processing plants in our state are selling 40 pound bulk boxes of chicken directly out of 18 wheel trucks at multiple locations across the state (fairgrounds, farmer markets, etc.) The meat is being sold at very reasonable prices of $35 to $60 per box depending if you want thighs, breasts, or wings. There are long lines of cars for these sales.

These bulk boxes are normally sold to restaurants that are closed. These sales allow people to get chicken at very discounted prices. A win-win all around. I should also note that both companies have been donating chicken to food banks across our state as well.

House of Raeford, Mountaire Farms hold another round of chicken sales; more Tuesday

It is truly amazing that after almost 100 years, the communists are up their same old tricks.

The term the communists call a person like gwb-trading is useful idiot.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holodomor
The Holodomor (Ukrainian: Голодомо́р; Голодомо́р в Украї́ні;[a][2] derived from морити голодом, "to kill by starvation")[3][4][5] was a man-made famine in Soviet Ukraine in 1932 and 1933 that killed millions of Ukrainians. It is also known as the Terror-Famine and Famine-Genocide in Ukraine,[6][7][8] and sometimes referred to as the Great Famine[9] or the Ukrainian Genocide of 1932–33.[10] It was part of the wider Soviet famine of 1932–33, which affected the major grain-producing areas of the country. During the Holodomor, millions of inhabitants of Ukraine, the majority of whom were ethnic Ukrainians, died of starvation in a peacetime catastrophe unprecedented in the history of Ukraine.[11] Since 2006, the Holodomor has been recognized by Ukraine[12] and 15 other countries as a genocide of the Ukrainian people carried out by the Soviet government.[13]

You're quoting Holodomor? Never go full retard @wildchild

Americans consume way way way too much of protein and carbs, on top of that half of the food that is perfectly edible is just thrown away.

Holodomor was about complete starvation, there was NOTHING. People would have eaten insects if available. Your dumb ass comparison is insulting.

So you think that these meat processing plants who are owned by capitalists in the U.S. are deliberately shutting down to drive a communist agenda.

Smithfield Foods was sold to a Chinese company in 2013. So who really knows?

People who think a shortage of Popeye's special offer chicken is a famine :)
