Hi

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find a chart that highlights previous FOMC rate decisions and the reactions of various markets. Ideally, the chart would give a little info on the decision itself, then the chart would show in what way the market reacted. Am I asking for too much for nothing? Thanks in advance.
 
i have read somewhere that historically a surprise cut lead to + ~100 Dow points.

In the light of current expectations I am guessing: No Cut = -100pts, 0.25 = 0pts, 0.5 = +50 Dow points.
 
Yeah thanks for the post. It's important tot keep in mind that cutting 50 BPS is unlikely because that limits what they can do in the future.
