Fnm A Good Short

Why short good old Fannie?
Has a very low p/e and pays dividend?
Only due to TA?
Even TA gives not that a good reason for shorting Fannie IMHO.

What does everyone think about shorting FNM (69.70) or FRE (52.15) There is all of this news about possible fraud. I would just like to here peoples opinions. I like them both short.

"OPINION ALERT"

these are probably 2 of the hardest specialist to scalp when the stocks are in play......but i personally have liked these as long term shorts for awhile....something just smells rotten....and i personally don't see the upside potential. what's that saying about a few roaches???? i think we are just starting to see the harbingers of what is to come.
