The official narrative now, as dutifully reported in an editorial by the DNC's media arm, the WashPost, is that the Flynn admission is evidence that the Trump team was...gasp...trying to "undermine" Obama's foreign policy. The evidence for this is that Flynn asked the Russians not to overreact to Obama's last minute sanctions and that he asked the Russians to block a UN resolution that marked a startling departure from 50 odd years of US policy.
A less partisan way of describing the Trump team's actions is they were engaged in damage control when faced with Obama trying to poison relations with Russian and Israel as he left office. If this is what they hope to get Trump on, I say bring it on.
