The official narrative now, as dutifully reported in an editorial by the DNC's media arm, the WashPost, is that the Flynn admission is evidence that the Trump team was...gasp...trying to "undermine" Obama's foreign policy. The evidence for this is that Flynn asked the Russians not to overreact to Obama's last minute sanctions and that he asked the Russians to block a UN resolution that marked a startling departure from 50 odd years of US policy.

A less partisan way of describing the Trump team's actions is they were engaged in damage control when faced with Obama trying to poison relations with Russian and Israel as he left office. If this is what they hope to get Trump on, I say bring it on.

Comey is another piece of work. "The bureau’s former director posted a not-so-cryptic message on social media appearing to gloat over the Michael Flynn plea agreement and announced cooperation with investigators." Comey yammered about justice being served.

According to ABC’sBrian Ross, the network was told by a Flynn confidant that the former National Security Advisor will testify against Trump.

“[Flynn] feels he has been abandoned by President Trump,” Ross told anchorGeorge Stephanopoulos. “And he is now prepared to testify about President Trump.”

ABC News further reports that that Flynn will also tesitfy, “against members of the Trump family, and others in the White House.”

ABC News announced Saturday that it has suspended investigative reporter Brian Ross for four weeks without pay after Ross was forced to correct a bombshell on-air report about Michael Flynn.

"We deeply regret and apologize for the serious error we made yesterday. The reporting conveyed by Brian Ross during the special report had not been fully vetted through our editorial standards process," ABC said in a statement. "As a result of our continued reporting over the next several hours ultimately we determined the information was wrong and we corrected the mistake on air and online."
