Well this “news story” blew up into fake news and now retractions from all the left leaning networks.
Couple of pesky facts for the left to digest. First, there is nothing illegal with Trump or anyone in his inner circle telling Flynn to contact and speak with Russians or any other government after Trump was elected. Second, all Flynn plead guilty to is lying to the FBI about what was perfectly legal for him to do, which was speaking to Russians after the election. Other than showing his ignorance of the law, who knows why he lied. Third, there is still zero evidence of collusion during the campaign, which is what all the hub bub has been about from the beginning.
Best you lefties are ever going to get out of all of this is Trump passing around a few money filled envelops during some construction project, which is something that anyone with a brain knows happens during every construction project since the beginning of time. Couple of pesky facts for CaptainObvious to digest.It is illegal for President elect Trump to interfere with President Obamas foreign policy so if Trump was contacting Russia to undercut Obama in any way it is a crime.Manafort,Trump Jr and Kushner meeting with Russians for help to hurt Hilary's campaign is clear evidence of collusion.The best we could get out of this is far more money filled envelops during some construction project.
IF, if, if. If isn't evidence, it's speculation. Meeting with Russians for the Hillary campaign wasn't collusion, so it's not for Trump either. You can't call one opposition research and the other collusion. Well, I guess you can, but it doesn't hold water in a court of law. You keep bringing up Hillary but Trump is under special prosecutor investigation,Hillary is not.
While media pundits on the left may propose it "is illegal for President elect Trump to interfere with President Obamas foreign policy" - the reality is that President elects have been reaching out to foreign governments since the beginning of U.S. history to discuss policies. Many times the incoming administration will drive policy in a different direction - there is nothing illegal about reaching out to discuss this with foreign diplomats.
There is no evidence whatsoever at this point in time which states that campaign leaders met with Russians to take any measures to hinder Hillary's campaign. She lost solely due to sucking as a candidate.
The liberal spin machine is going to chase its merry tail on their fantasies regarding Flynn - however everything he did regarding his activity contacting the Russians is legal. The reality is that there seems to be a limited path forward for this investigation beyond indicting Kushner if he lied to the FBI as well. Unless more solid evidence comes forward. Only time will tell.
Fox News and conservative favorite legal analyst Judge Napolitano said President elect Trump interfering with President Obamas foreign policy is a crime as well.

Yes I noticed. However I believe he is incorrect on this matter. The easiest defense will be simply going back to previous administrations at a similar point in time when the President was merely the president elect --- and asking for all their records on the transition team's contact with foreign governments. I expect either the proposed indictment on this type of matter would be dropped immediately after this request with no forthcoming information, or we would get all sorts of juicy details from the Obama, Bush, and Bill Clinton staff members at these earlier times.
All the press from that meeting state no information about the Hillary campaign was passed or discussed -- despite one lady at the meeting trying to entice Trump to meet with the promise of Hillary information, none of this came to pass in the session. Do you have information which states differently (meaning proof rather than speculation the Hillary campaign was discussed) -- if so then please post it so we can all be educated.
