Correct. I am still waiting for someone to show me where something illegal concerning Trump and Russians has occurred. --I wonder why Morlibons don't have an issue with his meetings with Mexicans while campaigning.

I don't see how discussing the sanctions so Flynn could take back Russian concerns to the White House is a problem. Making promises to eliminate the sanctions may be an issue depending on the context. A National Security Advisor contacting representatives of a foreign government probably has wide latitude in discussing the issues which concern the foreign government. Flynn saying something like "We will see what we can do about the sanctions. President Trump also has expressed a desire to ease them" can hardly be considered breaking any type of law -- it would probably just be part of a normal conversations with the Russian representatives (even if you rather talk about ISIS than sanctions). The reality is that Flynn does not have the power to eliminate sanctions so he can't promise anything beyond "I will bring your concerns to the President". Only Congress, the President, and State Department can directly eliminate sanctions (or parts of them).
