Floridians Could Soon Get The Right To Hunt Animals With Silencers

Loved this libnazi moment: "But gun control advocates said such silencers were designed for stealth shooters such as assassins."
Assassins? LOL!!!!!!!! Gotta love those communists!

Yes, we have a large assassin problem in the United States!

I have read that silencers are customary for sport shooting in europe. They regard not using one as similar to driving around in a harley with open pipes.

The anti-gun movement successfully tainted silencers as inherently evil and criminal, when they are anything but.

First of all, we need to get rid of the term "silencer". When someone uses that word, it's quite obvious that they aren't familiar with the appendage. They are "suppressors". They "suppress" sound, they don't silence it. A 30.06 or 308 hunting rifle with a suppressor is still going to be quite loud. Just not "Bang" loud. Unless you're using subsonic ammo (which you wouldn't be hunting with) the sound is going to be very audible, and still likely require hearing protection.

The media, politicians and gun control advocates throw around "silencer" all the time because they are clueless, and going with the James Bond image of killing people in the night and getting away with it. It couldn't be further from the truth.

Every time I hear someone use that word, I shake my head and immediately know I am dealing with an amateur.

Silencer is all Hollywood. My 10-22 is close, but the action can still be heard. Lol! It's all suppression though. .308 makes a crack sound. And what IS cool is the suppressed .50! Sounds small. Lol

I can go actually next-to-silent with an aac 5.56 sdn-6 suppressor and subsonic 223 ammo. It's really just a click and a "ting!" as the metal target is hit. But it's only for close range. Could clear a house out and no one would wake up. But I could never hunt anything with it.
