Oh, please. If we were to rack up how much effort is spent on both sides of the aisle to garner support and votes for Democrats OR Republicans, we'd be here until the end of time discussing it.
If you believe the left doesn't do the exact same thing to appeal to low IQ voters on the other side of the aisle, then maybe you're one of those low IQ voters?

DeSantis has already shown he is willing to spend tens of thousands of taxpayer dollars in lawsuits trying to stop the release of COVID data to the media -- releases that are required by Florida's Sunshine laws. Yet he persists in trying to hide the data and delaying its release. He has lost every single one of these suits. It is a wonder that taxpayers put up with this nonsense. Of course, he will be happy to use taxpayers dollars to use the courts to sue media companies to make political points -- even if his legal grounds have no basis in constitutional law.
I mean, I've been telling you "cancel culture" isn't real and merely a power grab con for over a year.
Because DeSantis actions don't indicate he feels this is just for show.... he supported a law to prevent cruiseships from requiring vaccines and now this...
I think he actually thinks he can do these things which is in line with his support for Trump who believed whatever he said was law.
And De Santis graduated cum Laude from Harvard Law.
He knows what he is doing even if it is a long shot.
If he can survive summary judgment and get to discovery... he wins big
for all of us.

If private companies wish to be protected from law suits by the things other people write on their sites... then they have should at most have a very narrowly defined right to edit for dangerous content.

DeSantis is quite obviously a contender for future potential Presidential runs. He's going to play to a vacuum of power in that spot. I would be surprised if he didn't.
