Just for the record, the only thing for sale in these areas is crack.

True story: In 93' when i first moved to florida i was staying in Boca.....I was told dixie ran parallel to fed highway.....I saw a sign for a drive thru liquor store and thought id grab a six....well I pull my car in and im instantly surrounded by guys wanting to 'borrow money' LOL!!!...I revved the engine a bunch of times to clear the area but man it was scary

lots of streches of US 1 are depressing....Riviera beach one of the worst......far as Overtown and the Orange Bowl...lots of younger guys with guts buying up property.....It's close into the city and urban living is coming back....Winwood, Buena vista, once "bad" areas are coming back......

There is no one right or not right place to live in florida.....you have to come down and look around!

How is the bug problem in Florida? How about fire ants, snakes, and panthers?Recommendations of where to stay away from?

FIRE ANTS EVERYWHERE!!!!

From Louisiana to carolina....no way to avoid it...you have to spray you lawn once a month in the summertime....Im really allergic to those mother f-ers!!! On bite on my foot and It looks like an elephants foot....same with Mosquitos....EVERYWHERE in FL but worse in the swampy middle of the state, less along the coast

It has been my experience...closer to the beach....less bugs...mosquitoes...etc......but florida is florida......I have a herd of Lizards who keep things under control!
