Excellent article, Mr. Tom. Had we honestly debated prior shootings and made fact-based adjustments, this shooting might have been prevented. We'll never know but what is certain is that there were colossal system failures. It's also a fact that inanimate objects (like "assault weapons") don't commit murder. And that liberals will use any "opportunity" to restrict legal gun ownership while doing little or nothing to address root causes like mental illness and criminality. A leftist's idea of "common sense gun control" is as common sense as the "Affordable Care Act" is affordable.
