Floppy formatting question...

For ~$20 you get 32mb of memory that is so fast, so portable, so convenient. A good CDRW purchased online are only $45.

BTW, what is a floppy disk? an antique? Holds a 1.4 megabyte load of data :D LMAO.

Yeah, reformatting will destroy the table tells the disk where everything is. Recovery is available and I question that it is impossible to download some for free somewhere on web.

You'd better save 2 copies, or make a folder on your HD for a 2nd backup. I've had a couple of instances where I went to access my CD-RW and found the computer couldn't read it due to disk deterioration(?).
