I'm trying to get as much information on XTF Market Making LLC.

I know they are a market making firm operating on the floor of the AMEX, but that's all i know. How can i determine if they are legit? (they are listed as a member firm in the AMEX directory site, but so is SLK - and obviously SLK is widely known)

Any ideas? Anyone heard of them?

very true ...

i guess in a market like this, i really have nothing to lose. But in the world of proprietary trading, if WorldCo (for example) called me up, then I'd probably pass. I just wanted to gauge what i'm getting myself into.

(for any WorldCo employees: this is only based on what i've been reading on this board and talking to some folks ... i have had no direct conversation with the company, so I could be full of it ... but i only report what i hear)
