Thats a fact. I have a family freind who was a $2.00 broker on the floor for 35 years! When I asked him how to break in he told me to stand outside of the exchange and talk to people.

thanks for the tip. it's a funny biz... you hear things like "this stuff is usually passed down from father to son..." etc.

i respect that, i think it helps protect the industry, but too much can be like, you know, inbreeding...

anyway, back at it...

No problem. Did you see the first post I made about the temp agency? Thats prolly your best bet.

A good thing is to offer to treat them to lunch while you ask them some questions (and get to know them). Some guys I know did that here in Chicago and worked out well for them.
