Thanks maestro you're right i am having a bad day and getting this totally wrong.Appreciate your concern.
Bad day at the office and i bet i'm not the only one here surprised by todays rally.But thankfully,(a word i hope to use more often in this journal) 'maestro' saved me from myself when i was still considering donating more of my fund to the market-another benefit of keeping this journal.I lost 3 trades today so i am down $15 and the account slips to +£30 -about as welcome as a fart in a spacesuit.
I am long 12.40 to 3.50pm,the entry price is 1411.3
I have added another long 2pm to 3.30.The entry price was 1410.6
12.40 to 3.50pm lost (by 1 tenth of a point) 2pm to 3.30pm won, so i am beakeven for the day.I felt confident that we would close above 1410 but should have waited longer for a lower entry.I would guess that we go to the next resistance level next week (1438),maybe slightly higher and then head lower.But i will just try to trade what i see one day at a time.I am glad it's the weekend i have been keeping stupid hours and was asleep all through a perfect shorting opportunity which could have seen me regain yesterdays losses.Part of trading discipline is to keep yourself in good shape and i feel a bit guilty about that.Problem is i have always been a night owl,but i will relax over the weekend and get back to a sensible routine.(you always say that-yeah but i always mean it).Have a nice weekend.
I am long into the close at 1411.4 We must close at 1414 or above for the bet to win and i placed it around 10.19am. I have also placed a long from 10.40am to 2.30pm- the entry price was 1409.2
I have gone long 2pm to 3.50pm the price was 1405.1.I also placed 3 longs for weds thurs and fri-entry prices were 1405.1 1405.4 and 1405.8 with commission we must close at or above 1408 on those days.
