California just went over it's fiscal cliff. Voters passed an amendment to tax the high earners and the makeup of the legislature changed so the Democrats have a super-majority, the 2/3 needed to pass any tax increase without asking the voters.

Democrats just don't acknowledge that there is a maximum size for government. More and more government is all that they know. They don't acknowledge any need for fiscal accountability, in fact they fight that idea tooth and nail. Now they have absolute free reign to implement their way of doing things. I think that it will be fun to watch.

Yeah, I heard about that today. As mad as I was on the national election, that would just send me over the falls if I lived there. They opened the door on limitless tax increases and you KNOW if anyone will raise taxes, it's a Californian Legislator.
