Looking for good or bad experiences using brokerage firms clearing with First Southwest Company.

The information I can find so far is not favorable to First Southwest.

As of Monday Jan 25, 2016 First Southwest is HilltopSecurities.

Anyone having trading platform issues?

My mistake. I thought I read Southwest Securities. A different firm. Now they have merged. Not familiar with the merged company and their website is down. FINRA BROKER Check attached.

Very easy to confuse the two.

Probably why they are using the Hilltop name for the combined firm.
