Hello ET, been trading futures for about 2 years off and on and blew out my first 2 accounts with limited knowledge of the market and very undisciplined. I now have another stake and I'm planning to take it very easy and I know the pain of wiping out a trading account and being busted and it's not a fun feeling. Just wanted to say hey and see how things go from here.

Don't know the size of the accounts,but it's part of the learning curve,futures has a long curve.All kinds of free sim accounts around. Get back on the horse and hone your skills. Use Sim/demo platform.
 
1st account = 20K
2nd account = 5K
new account = 10K

I've been using a simulator for the past 2-3 months and haven't been able to log consistent profits so I'm going to continue to trade sim until I can get consistent. I wish I would have had the brains to use the simulator from the beginning but I don't think I would have respected it back then.

HI Boskop,

what is happening at the FX area??

I have just read the book "Traders of the new era" which tells the story of succesfull traders that primarily trade stocks actually some trade penny stocks...
Why am I starting out with e-mini futures like many others beginners and thinking about the CL futures and you are recommending the FX??

please tell me...
