Please don't try a cop out. What Obama ran on was a platform of changing the whole elitist mentality that Washington was prevalent with. Instead, once he got there he just signed us all up for more of the same.

So we have to now get each candidate's position on every miniscule aspect of their lives, intentions and jobs? Stop being a tool. You know very well that a campaign promise, for example, "to cut spending" means cutting spending whenever there is opportunity. The candidate doesn't list out each and every possible opportunity. Wasn't it you who pointed out Christie's use of a helicopter to go to a son's baseball game? You were right then, and wrong now.

Be man enough to admit it instead of trying to use semantics as a way to escape.

You're really going to stand by that stupidity, aren't you. This just shows that no one here can have a serious discussion with you, because you'll never cede one aspect of any point, even when you are clearly without support. My list of lefty posters I can see on this site is dwindling as I find I can no longer tolerate the sheer ridiculous of their posts.

As a result of putting Tinkerbell and a few others on ignore, the forum has become a much more palatable place. Perhaps it's time to remove one other voice of poor common sense.

Did Obama lie about ending the Bush tax cuts ?yes

Did Obama lie about closing Gitmo ?yes

Did Obama promise or even imply that he was such a fiscal conservative that he would be cutting traditional personal white house staff to save a few bucks ? you're reaching to far for me to go along with that one
