Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone knows of prop firms that offer a different strategy to scalping in NY. I graduated about 1 1/2 year ago from college and started trading right away at a prop firm. Did okay I guess, (made roughly $20K pretax) so far but am trying to now explore my options. I feel a longer term strategy especially in this market is much more profitable but my firm environment is really not conducive to that type of style. From reading on this forum it appears these firms below are what I'm looking for:
1. Bright Trading
2. Bear Capital Fund
3. Capstone co.
4. Ronin Capital, llc.
5. Transmarket Group, llc.
I'm looking for a firm that has a formal training process rather than just assigning me to some random "mentor" since I know that can really be a hit or miss.
Ideally, I would like to go without capital contribution but if I have to I'm really hoping for something less than the $5k standard because I know it's probably going to be a long process again for me to start making and I don't exactly have that much saved up from my measly $20k. This might be a long shot but if anyone can offer any advice I'd greatly appreciate it, thank you!
