Firefox Image Burned Into My LCD Monitor!

Here's another explanation that I got from the Techguy website:

There is possibility that a circuit failed in your LCD monitor that is causing the burn-in problem. Any kind of long term DC voltage applied to the LCD panel itself can cause a burn-in of a static image. The displays use an internally generated timing signal that flips all of the voltages driving the LCD panel. This keeps the overall DC voltage at zero. If that signal goes away, you get some amount of DC offset and burn-in.
