Finding Stocks which doubled in specific time period

Hi,

I was wondering how can we find out stocks which doubled, tripled or in general stocks with the best appreciation in a specific time period like say in 2010 or 2008.

Most publicly available stock screeners don't allow specifying time
period, they default to current day and backwards.

Are there stock screeners which allow specifying time period ?
