Finder fees

Hi all,

I'm looking for some information regarding using a third party marketeer regarding the agreement structure, I know that the marketeer usually receives 20/20 which means 20% of the management fees and 20% of the performance fees but I wonder for how long should he receive the fees ? 1 year 2 years or what ? and is there any other information that I should be aware of ?

Three to Five years is more typical. Some will demand as long as the money stays with you. Understand that many of the good third party marketer have a trusted group of investors. You don't want the money to move on to another fund that will pay them if you won't.
