That estimator has been out for quite a while but is fairly accurate. Gave me a $12K estimate per year for premiums. Currently paying $4300/year. Luckily we can keep our 'lousy' policy for another year or so.
I don't want to even get started on this, and I'll be pissed off the rest of the day over the LOSS of MY Country!
After losing a BEAUTIFUL and AFFORDABLE Blue Cross/Blue Shield plan that was $390/month, I'm NOT paying $1,400/month for this silver plan horse shit with the outrageous deductible. No, I'll simply stick with the VA, and let you suckers who actually work, pay for my healthcare. What a fucking nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!

To correct Richter, if you have low income you will get health INSURANCE for the first time, maybe. Things really haven't changed all that much, as the poor always got care. It's just a matter of who is paying for it.

Exactly! The poor can get Medicaid, and we all know it. This ruse called obamacare, is all about control, and an evil side effect of this "medicine," is those who are older, who knew freedom, are finding that the doctors they need to see aren't able to see them with this new , "improved" system. What's that mean? Simple. They can basically go somewhere and die.

But if you don't like the political, economic, and social ramifications of a two-tier society where the poor outnumber the rich 100 to 1, don't have a two-tier society where the poor outnumber the rich 100 to 1. Obamacare is a step in the right direction. Maybe not the best step, but our system was considered pretty bad compared to our peers. Unless you have a lot of money which, if you do, the cost of Obamacare still doesn't register (except in principle).

In other words, if the poor got 90 days of food, cash, and medicaid vs having this for life, then HAD to find a job, I GUARANTEE the number of poor would drop like a rock.
