Financial Modeling platforms

Does anyone have any knowledge /idea of which financial modeling platforms are used by institutions/Banks/Hedgefunds?

I'm sure some small funds/CTA's may use Tradestation but I'm wondering what's considered the next level?

I can imagine they use Matlab, Mathematica but what else is out there?

What i'm interested in is what software may be available to take advantage of the computational power of the NVIDIA Tesla C1060 Computing Processor.
for strategy development and testing.
