May I ask, are pork chops illegal? They don't appear to be, yet a healthy profit can be made by inducing the fear of death, plus the small consideration of financial ruin, if owners do not pay up. A government powerless to respond in any effective manner when it comes to the threat of pork chops has zero chance of protecting legal vendors of drugs.

One of two things will happen - the cartels will take a large chunk of the legal drug trade profit anyway and continue there violence to secure that or via violence they will not allow it to exist.

Why can't we have some gun control. I own a .357 and I don't plan on owning more than 1 gun. There was a 2 week waiting period when I bought it 9-10 years ago in CA. Having lived in CO for 8 years I had no idea that I could walk in and 2 hours later walk out with an AR15, like they did on that news show the other night, Dateline I believe. That's asinine.

No civilian should have that easy of an access to so much fire power in such a short time. When ppl starting wanting to own more than 4 guns, bought over an extended period of time, they come off extremist to me. Civilians owning AR15's, AK's, and .50 cal handgun and sniper rifles is out of control IMO. You want to own a handgun, shotgun, or hunting rifle no problem.

I would limit the amount of guns owned, ammo owned, and require everyone to take a combat shooting class. Firing at a fixed target is not realistic. Even the NYPD only hits 35% of what they fire at why do you think you will do better practicing at a range.

Not quite, and not even because the above in no way describes me. I have never attended church ( perhaps your going to tell me I need to find god then I will see the virtues in being a gun slinging drug user well into my adult life? ) As far as I can tell its the Americans who win the prize when it comes to believing in a man on a cloud, in comparison the the English.

And you know nothing of my history, this board is not really the place to be screaming about drug use, you will find many in the UK who smoked pot routinely in there youth as well as using recreational drugs on a consistent basis. Most grow out of it, some continue through out there adult life, and you would not know it to look at them.

There are a tiny minority who seek identification with such matters and really want the world to know, whilst screaming about the injustices of criminalization.


For the most part people understand the inherent dangers in drug misuse, the government do a poor job to education youth on this matter, especially the demonization of pot, the result being people try it and have a good fucking time! They then take a look at the rest of the drugs and as what was told did not hold as truth about pot they assume the same. Its not a perfect system yet its a lot better than drug shops on every street corner.
