Financial books give away (free)

Quote from nutmeg:

looks interesting.

I feel like such a sleuth (went through plenty of dead links, etc) the book is online for free.

Nice work...and people say there's no such thing as a free lunch.:D

Quote from zdreg:

you must be joking. it took me less than 30 seconds to find it.

Oh yea..:D

I read the book in less than 30 seconds.

Nutmeg Norris to you.

Quote from sle:

I am trying to clean up my closets, so a bunch of books that are/were related to my life in finance have to make room for other stuff. All of this is free for the taking if you want to pick it up yourself or arrange it with someone from here to ship it to you. The offer expires in a week or so unless you PM me, I am going to throw these out.

Here is a list of titles and authors, you can search on the Amazon for the details:
Inflation Linked Products, Benaben
Structured Equity Derivatives, Kat
Dynamic Hedging, Taleb
Handbook for Fixed Income Securities, Fabozzi
Monte Carlo Methods in Finance, Jackel
A foreign exchange primer, Shama
The Treasury Bond Basis, Burghard and Belton
Advance Financial Modelling using Excel and VBA, Jackson and Staunton
Colateralized Debt Obligations, Tavakoli
Baron's Dictionary of Finance and Investment Terms
When Genius Failed, Lowenstein
Economics, Wessels
Learning Perl, Schwartz
Writing Excel Macros, Roman
The Great Wave, Fischer
Traders Guns and Money, Das
The Bell Curve, Herrenstein and Murray
Shipping out a list like that, I gotta wonder what the "other stuff" coming in could be.

sle - the nypl won't take them? or the SIBL branch on 33rd? you'd also get a deduction on them.
I don't have the time nor the energy to go and deal with them. Also, I don't think deductions would help me this year :(

Pretty amazing that a guy offers some very interesting titles for free and still gets derided by a poster. I won't be taking you up on your offer but I do want to thank you for making it. Very considerate.

BTW ... I loved The Bell Curve. It was amazing to me that Murray was called a racist after the book came out. I do not think there was a single racist of even prejudicial word in the entire book. Again, thanks.

All books are gone. Thanks for the attention.

PS. I felt bad throwing these out and my Mrs is adamant that she needs the closet space for her shoes.
