Finally! Rithmic on the Web! Optimus Trader - Our Flagship Platform

What are the key differences between this platform and TT's web platform? (Not the TT Pro version, the $50/month version).

TT is great, and we service customers on that platform.

We have a large group of Rithmic users that needed web-based and mobile solutions. Our goal was to accommodate our existing customers first, and at the same time bring another solution to the market place.
We will continue to work with all platform providers and respect people's choices when it comes to their needs and execution.

Would you mind talking about what functionality you felt was missing (or was sub par) that inspired you to build your own? Or is it that you have enough customers for whom you would be able to do customizations that would be harder to get done with other "generic" platforms?

My entry to the discount online trading business was associated with the Rithmic solution. Since many move to web-based executions and mobile, it was good timing to build something that integrated with the new R-Protocol API by Rithmic. Also, when you build a product of your own, you have the ability to receive feedback and implement things directly as needed or removed.

Truth to be told, when you have a team that consists of good people, it's a pleasure to build things.

R-Protocol is a new API that as developed by Rithmic for web based.
