FINALLY...Real-Time Stock Quotes at Yahoo--For Free!

Quote from Bob111:

heh... if you trade for 2 years,yeah..it was before that.yahoo quotes can be used in number of ways...can you scan through whole nasdaq and nyse within 30 sec? i can. using yahoo. what you can do with the data is another story..

Well, I imagine you spent several hours one day to "create" a screener that works with your trading plan. I'm sure the characteristics are saved and therefore you can scan everything with one click....

GUYS I'M NOT CRAZY!!!!!!

I thought perhaps the THC had overwhelmed my other senses so I stayed quiet about it; I was going to post on the subject

LOL!!! Gotta love a little pipe tobacco now and then.

Actually, Yahoo Finance had real-time quotes for many years up until NASDAQ bought Island and started charging for quotes. Island used to provide free real-time quotes and L2 (of its own book) both on its own site and on Yahoo Finance. This deal with BATS is just the same thing they did with Island at least 6 years ago. Glad to see it back, but hardly a revolutionary step....

What other sites instead of Yahoo! will provide this service (I wasn't able to see the entire article).

Any news of Google Finance gaining access to them?
